The strategy focused on fixing MCC’s website technical on-page issues, quality of content and keyword structure.

The Goal

Melbourne Cookie Co were facing challenges in their online placement when it came to search rankings. There was a lack of traffic coming in, awareness online and keywords not ranking for their targeted audience.

The primary objective for this client was to increase online sales and generate more website traffic.

Our Approach

To drive a successful strategy for this brand, we looked at keyword analysis so we can understand which key terms were being searched for by customers who were ready to buy.

We used this data to revamp the existing content structure and target more user-intent keywords based on market demand. This was achieved by including short and long-tail keywords to gain organic visibility across all product categories.

The Results

We were able to see a climb in 12 months with over 250 keywords ranking in page 1 of organic search results.

Ongoing search optimisation has allowed us to earn more traffic and exposure through optimising each product category, and now Melbourne Cookie Co appears in featured results for cookies amongst different event categories throughout the year.

Adrian from Design Point Digital somehow took the messy ideas in my mind and created a website that I couldn't even imagine. Adrian not only built my website from scratch but he taught me how to use the backend and created something so user- friendly that even I can (kind of) manage on my own. He also went to the effort of creating a personalised user guide for me to follow and teach myself a few extra tricks. On one occasion there were even some very late night technical difficulties I had which Adrian was super quick to fix and came to the rescue! The site wasn't easy to create, especially with me changing my mind every so often.. but Adrian was happy to spend as much time necessary to amend and edit every minor detail I asked of him! Design Point Digital also printed and installed professional signage at the Studio which was also hassle free, with a quick turnaround and exactly what I had envisioned.
